The SportDog Field Trainer is an effective and affordable trainer with a 400 yard range featuring a 4.5 oz receiver collar ideal for any dog over 30 pounds or sporting and hunting breeds.
The SD-400 is for average-to-train dogs and the SD-400S is for the occasional hard-to-train dog.
Like all electronic remote training collars, the PetSafe SportDog Field Trainer can be used for two basic purposes: 1) Reinforce obedience commands and 2) Stop unwanted behaviors.
These trainers are expandable and can be used to train one, two or three dogs simultaneously. Extra collar receivers are needed and are sold separately.
