Any boundary wire can be twisted around itself to provide an area where the dog can cross over the wire without receiving a correction. This kit includes a spool of FasTrak wire which is pre-twisted and can save a great deal of time on larger or more complex installations. No cumbersome hand-twisting equals no hassle! Pre-Twisted Wire is the fast, easy way to customize your In-ground Pet Containment System. Pre-Twisted wire creates "safe zones" where your dog can safely cross buried wire without getting a correction. For example, if you let your dog out the front door you would lay the Pre-Twisted wire across the doorway allowing your dog to travel freely in/out of that door.

You can twist your own wire if you want to, however, it's a cumbersome, handtwisting exercise. The Pre-Twisted wire is a hassle free way to create safe areas for your dog.
